On the keyword hunt? Find suitable keywords and search terms for SEO, SEA, and online marketing with our keyword research + analysis

Finding the right keywords is not always easy, and if the keyword analysis is not done properly, you might optimize in the wrong direction. With a professional keyword research + analysis, you receive not just words, but metrics, key figures, and an evaluation of each keyword + its competition, along with the corresponding top 10 competitor websites in the search results.

Keywords are defined by humans, not by machines. If we use these keywords, we reach human + machine!

A detailed research is always at the beginning of every optimization. Using a premium SEO Keyword Tool, the main keyword, also known as focus keyword, country/region, and language are set. These factors can therefore also be used to narrow down regional differences and different language usage.

This is how the keyword search begins. The Keyword Generator is used to create keywords for online marketing, search engine optimization, as well as search engine marketing and search engine advertising (SEA PPC Google AdWords Ads).

Unlike the free Google Keyword Planner or Google Suggest, you receive numerous metrics, values, and competitor data to better assess the value and search volume of a keyword (see the list + explanation below).

We therefore always emphasize finding the right or suitable SEO keywords, so that a success with keyword optimization becomes noticeable. The keyword ranking check before and after search engine optimization is then important, together with a balanced keyword density of 2-3%. Only in this way will you receive a text that is interesting for Google as well as for users.

By means of explicit long-tail keywords, you can also massively improve your keyword ranking and increase your relevance in the long term – regardless of whether it is a company website, online shop, or profile on marketplaces, etc.

With our analysis, you can find Google Keywords, which can also be used for optimization on Bing,Amazon,YouTube, etc. The language (German, English, French, Spanish, etc.) and regional restriction can be freely selected.

The most common questions and answers about keyword research and analysis

What is keyword research and how does keyword research work?
Keyword research is the foundation before analysis. Based on a so-called focus keyword (1 word or search phrase = several words), a list of similar and related terms from the same topic area is created. This automatically lists relevant words matching the „focus“. Based on the relevant search terms, the best possible SEO text, product description or ad text can then be created. However, a detailed keyword analysis follows first. This is at the beginning of every search engine optimization and forms the basis for the SEO strategy and is extremely helpful.

What is keyword analysis and how does keyword analysis work?
Analysis is the step after research. Once the keywords are in a list, the metrics are sorted and compared, and the appropriate keywords and word phrases are selected. Depending on the competition factor and competitor analysis, it is then decided whether and how the search engine optimization should look. For paid ads through Google Ads or Bing Ads, it must be decided based on the PPC and the competition whether it is worthwhile to invest here.

SERP = Search Engine Results Page = Refers to the results page(s) of a search engine when searching for a very specific search query (keyword)

Keyword = Search term as a single word or phrase (multiple words; also called long-tail)

Avg. Search Volume = Average monthly search volume (calculated over the last 12 months)

Location = Country of the analyzed data

CPC = Estimated Cost per Click (cost per click in Google Ads)

PPC = Competition level/percentage of competitors

KD = Keyword Difficulty = Competition/competitor analysis to get to the first page or to position 1 (0-20 = easy, 21-35 = more difficult, 36-50 = hard, 50+ = 1-2 years of intensive work) – simply put, the difficulty of the keyword for SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Search Volume XX/XXXX = Average search volume in this month

Domain Authority (DA) = A ranking factor from Moz (moz.com) that predicts how well a domain will rank. The calculation is done by evaluating the domain, number of total links, MozRank, MozTrust, etc.

Page Authority (PA) = A ranking score from Moz (moz.com) that predicts how well a specific page will rank. The authority calculation includes link counts, MozRank, MozTrust, and dozens of other factors.

Citation Flow (CF) = Developed by Majestic (majestic.com), focuses on the quantity of links. It predicts how influential a URL is, based on the number of websites linking to it – quality and quantity of links.

Trust Flow (TF) = Majestic SEO’s Trust Flow (TF) assesses the trustworthiness of a domain based on the quality of its backlinks. It ranges from 0 to 100, with a higher value indicating more trust. A high TF means that the domain is linked by reputable, topic-relevant sites, which improves its ranking. In contrast, the Citation Flow (CF) measures the quantity of backlinks, regardless of their quality.

A good TF to CF ratio is crucial for an effective SEO strategy.

Links = Number of external backlinks to the URL. The number of referring domains, IPs, and subnets is also taken into account.

FB = Number of shares on Facebook. How often the post was measurably shared and republished.

LPS = Overall Link Profile Strength (up to 30 normally achievable, over 30 a lot of work and from 50 only possible with a portal)

EV = Estimated visits per month to this SERP position (search result position). Calculated from the average monthly search volume.
