But no one can read this text!… is probably one of the most common statements when an SEO text is sent in a Word document without context to the content and the page.

SEO texts are not pure flowing texts for the direct reader, but rather an accessory for Google and, if applicable, for the reader who wants to find out more!

AVOID this mistake: NEVER send SEO texts for customer approval in Word, but rather integrate them directly into the shop or onto the page and show the context. If that’s not possible, explain it to the customer 5 times, because otherwise you’ll run into problems.

Now to the topic of writing style, adjectives, etc.

EVERY text should fundamentally be tailored to the page and the corresponding style and target group.

The simplest approach:

  1. You (informal), You (formal), or Your (plural informal)
  2. Direct address or general language (one)
  3. Hard or soft language (use of adjectives)
  4. Favorite words or preferred word choice (see Keywordtool Browser Extension lesson)
  5. Length of sentences or division into main/subordinate clauses (rather less important)

With this information, which you can find yourself within 2-3 minutes, you have the basis and can start rewriting.
