But hey…there are programs that can do this much better than us humans 😉

If you are not 100% confident in this area, use online tools that check grammar and correct the most basic stylistic errors.

One of the most popular tools on the market is Grammarly. The free version corrects all grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. It looks like this:

Hemingway Editor is a great free online tool for checking style and readability:

It highlights all sentences that are too long, as well as the use of passive voice, adverbs, and phrases with simpler alternatives.

You can also try tools like Slick Write or Paper Rater.

Note: Unfortunately, some of the tools do NOT work in German. Learning by doing!
