Background: Word, OpenOffice, Libre Office, and all other tools generate an extreme amount of HTML and CSS code in the background of the text.
If I simply insert this into an editor in WordPress or other systems with a WYSIWYG editor and then switch to the text view, it’s sickening to see all the stuff that’s copied in the background. This ranges from fonts, colors, formatting, pixel spacing, etc. It’s insane and absolute junk!
BUT 90% don't know that, but now you do!
Hence the tip that many don't even consider or don't know:

- Copy text into the left box (first select and delete everything with Ctrl + A or Cmd + A)
- Click "Tidy" at the top right.
- Integrate clean HTML code from the right box into the source code view of the website (CMS).
Simple, right?
Beware of the following:
- For longer texts, htmltidy sometimes automatically adds an advertising paragraph at the end for promotional purposes. Just delete it!
- Sometimes, depending on the Word version, if bold words are next to each other, the space is omitted. Simply edit this briefly after insertion.
- Check after insertion
