Use A/B Testing for WooCommerce to seamlessly run server-side A/B tests. The extension supports product price testing and shipping price testing and is integrated with Google Optimize for easy tracking and analysis. This is part of Conversion Optimization for an Online Shop and should be chosen as one of the last optimization measures.
Easily implement A/B tests for WooCommerce shops with Google Optimize and increase sales
Increase sales by getting answers to important questions for your business – and use real numbers to support you.
- What is the optimal price for a newly released product?
- Do you get more orders if you reduce all your products by 10%?
- Do you get more overall sales if you increase all your product prices by 15%?
- Do you get more orders if you offer free shipping?
- Do you get more overall revenue if you increase your flat rate price?
With the A/B Testing for WooCommerce extension, you can run the tests that give you these answers, allowing you to make informed business decisions that contribute to your bottom line.
- Run WooCommerce shipping tests to compare your current shipping options with free, free with minimum value, and flat rate tests.
- Run WooCommerce price tests to compare your current product price with a price increase or decrease for all your products, products in specific categories, and individual products.
- Trackandanalyze test results with Google Optimize and Google Analytics services.
A/B Testing in the Shop
A/B tests change the core functionality of WooCommerce by showing different experiences to different visitors. Each individual visitor is „baked into“ the test or control, so only one consistent experience is shown without being aware of the other experience.
With the help of Google Optimize, test and control behavior is tracked, and we can select a clear winner in terms of a performance goal (usually conversion rate). If the test performed better than the control, we can implement this change across the entire website. Alternatively, the control might have performed better, and no change is needed. A final outcome is that the test did not yield a clear winner. Therefore, we can either test for a longer period or accept that the test had little impact on visitor behavior.
