First off: In principle, the theme is well-made and easy to use for the inexperienced layman, and the argument „no programming knowledge necessary“ holds true here. However, this has long ceased to be anything special, and there are far more important topics to consider when talking about the „best WordPress WooCommerce themes.“

Since 2010, we have implemented more than 1,000 projects with WordPress, and 70-150 new ones are added annually, including WooCommerce shops.

Flatsome by UXThemes* advertises itself with „The best-selling WooCommerce & Business Theme. A powerful multipurpose WooCommerce theme suitable for any type of WordPress project.“

Quote: „Flatsome is the perfect theme for your shop or company website, or for all your client websites if you are an agency or a freelancer. It has all the tools needed to create super-fast websites with amazing user experience. It has unlimited options and a revolutionary responsive page builder, so you can create anything without coding.“

With our experience since 2008, we can consider some technical as well as visual aspects that are enormously important but are not even noticed by the layman.

1. More hype than genuinely good
2. Legacy issues due to its existence since 2013
3. Mostly oversized = too many functions that are always active (even if you don't use them!)
4. Not as good for SEO as other themes
5. Partially complex code
6. CSS often not well implemented
7. Proprietary UX-Builder makes a change impossible without a complete rebuild (better to use Wp Bakery or Elementor for content)
8. Responsive often has several bugs
9. Poor loading time with weak hosting

In summary, there are many small details that make it not so easy for professional use without programming effort. It is similar, for example, with the bestseller Avada*, which is truly terribly programmed and has simply become a „monster“ over the years in terms of customization and loading time.
