As of July 1, 2021, it’s here. The „new“ One Stop Shop (OSS) procedure does not make it any easier for small online retailers. As soon as an online shop has shipped more than 10,000 euros in total value (net) to consumers (B2C) in other EU countries in a calendar year, a quarterly report must be sent to the Federal Central Tax Office. Description and functions of the WooCommerce One Stop Shop Plugin:
One Stop Shop for WooCommerce extends WooCommerce to comply with the European Union’s new One Stop Shop procedure. With the help of this small plugin, you can easily monitor the delivery threshold of €10,000 for B2C exports to other EU countries. In addition, you can create tax reports (e.g. quarterly, monthly, annually) for the OSS procedure and export them as CSV to easily inform your local tax authorities about your sales.
- Monitoring the delivery threshold – The plugin can automatically monitor the annual delivery threshold and send notifications by email and via the admin panel if the threshold is about to be reached.
- Detailed tax reports – Create detailed tax reports (e.g. per tax rate, per country) of your WooCommerce orders and export them as CSV.
- Tax Rate Import – Automatically adjust your tax rates to the current EU VAT rates.
- Tax Classes per Country – Different tax classes may apply to different EU countries depending on the product. Choose tax classes per country for your WooCommerce products.
Attention: A registration for the new OSS procedure is additionally required, so you should tackle the matter in good time.
