The solution to the problem with PayPal Cancelled/Aborted = WooCommerce PayPal Plus not working

Initial tests have been completed, and we were able to integrate the improved PayPal Plus solution with IPN connection as a backup with just one hour of effort.

For this, you would need to purchase and install the following TWO plugins (ATTENTION: 2 plugins!!!) from Angelleye:

The well-known plugin from Inpsyde – www.wordpress.org/plugins/woo-paypalplus – has unfortunately not been working correctly since June/July 2020.

Most common errors with the „normal“ PayPal Plus plugin solution:

1. Redirection to PayPal does not work
2. Amount 0 is passed
3. PayPal payment page loads 3 times and then aborts
4. No payment possible
5. Payment box with payment methods is not displayed

Solution: WooCommerce PayPal Plus payment pending & aborted

Another important note: Credit check leads to errors with "Purchase on account"

It happens again and again that with PayPal Plus „Purchase on account“, the payment is still aborted and not successfully completed.

Reason for this: Especially women (sorry ;)) shop and shop and buy via PayPal on account. Depending on the payment behavior and history of the payment flow, PayPal grants a credit line of 1,500 Euros or less. If one has already been reminded, does not pay on time, or if Creditreform and co. show negative data during a credit check, then it simply does not work, because PayPal is an escrow agent and not a bank. This is often the reason why a payment does not go through even with correct integration.

Solution: EC or credit card via PayPal, so that the money flows immediately, OR even better, prepayment!
