The referral system is designed by default to allow you to set payout amounts for referrals based on either fixed prices or percentages. This functionality comes with a fair share of sub-features:

• Select discount type: Choose either a fixed price or a percentage for your coupon.
• Coupon Option: Trigger reward features on your coupon for both the referrer and the referee. You can set the coupon percentage (or set the price if you have set the discount type to fixed price).
  • Referrer Coupon: Set the coupon price or percentage for the referrer upon purchase.
  • Referee Coupon: Set the coupon price or percentage of the purchase.
    
• Purchase Options: Specify the discount the referrer receives when an arbiter purchases a product. You can set the coupon percentage (or set the price if you have set the discount type to fixed price).

• Points Settings: Set currency to points conversion rates. Get fine-tuned control with options to round up and down numbers to the nearest whole number. Set redemption conversion rates; set a number of maximum points; and specify point expiry dates.
  
• Product / Cart / Checkout Messages: Customize messages for the Product, Variable Product, Checkout, Coupon Redemption, and Thank You pages.
  
• Points collected for actions: Give customers the opportunity to collect points for actions such as creating an account or writing a product review. You can set the number of points customers receive for each action.
